A supposedly “lost” album from the avant-garde musician Captain Beefheart (who passed away just over a year ago from multiple sclerosis) will be released in January.
NME.com reports that Bat Chain Puller, produced by Frank Zappa in 1976, will finally hit the stores on January 15, which would have been Don Van Vliet’s (Beefheart’s real name) 71st birthday.
The album will feature all 12 original album tracks as well as three bonus songs.
