As the holiday season gears up, Gibson.com is delighted to report on a true goodwill story. Proud grandfather, Allan Tutt in Canada, hit on the brilliant idea of buying a Gibson guitar manufactured on the exact day of the birth of his grandson Ayden: 11-11-11.
Allan contacted Gibson Guitar President David Berryman, who set the wheels in motion to locate such a guitar, a Gibson SG, manufactured on that very day, which was quickly shipped to Mr. Tutt.
Mr. Tutt expressed his appreciation in a poem that wonderfully expresses the Christmas spirit:
