It’s been another weird, wild and crazy week in the world of rock and roll. Velvet Revolver appeared on stage once more, at a tribute gig for a friend. Paul McCartney talked up Liverpool as a tourist destination while we discovered that John Lennon loved cats – the animals, not the musical. John Fogerty signed up to act in a TV mystery show while Slash and Joe Bonamassa picked up prestigious guitarist awards. Finally, Ted Nugent is about to get his own brand of bullets. Now that’s rock and roll!
