Black Label Society frontman and guitarist extraordinaire Zakk Wylde is going to sit in with The Roots on an upcoming episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Wylde will join the hip-hop house band on Monday, June 6, according to Blabbermouth.net.
The question is, what will Zakk, ?uestlove and the gang play together. Will the former Ozzy Osbourne axeman lead The Roots in an Ozzy cover or will he decide to play one of the songs on BLS’s latest release, The Song Remains Not the Same. This could be your chance to hear Zakk and The Roots attempt Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon airs at 12:35 a.m. ET on NBC.
