DJ, producer and artist Mark Ronson had a near death experience while in the studio with U.S. rock band Black Lips. According to The Sun newspaper, they were working on a song called "Raw Meat." Black Lips’ Cole Alexander explained: “To get in the mood we started eating liver sashimi. Then we got sick. Mark’s fever was so high his brain was cooking.”
Asked about what happened Mark Ronson told the NME: “I thought maybe I was hungover or something. Then I started shivering uncontrollably. The next thing, the band are putting all these blankets over me. I wake up an hour later, [expletive] moaning and groaning.
"One of them touched my skin and they were like ‘Listen dude, we’ve got to get you to a hospital.’ When I was there I was diagnosed with something with a lot of syllables in it – endorhinitis, or something like that. I almost died. But I don’t think it was intentional on their part.”
