Top 10 Stories of the Week in Music News

 


It’s been another week of madness and excitement in the world of rock and roll. Foo Fighter Dave Grohl said he owed everything to Kurt Cobain, Bono was caught singing karaoke in Brazil and Coldplay’s Chris Martin sang an Oasis tune in a pub. Horror master Stephen King said that he preferred Metallica over Black Sabbath, and Tom Hanks signed on to produce Green Day’s American Idiot movie. We also heard about a new Bonnaroo ice cream from Ben and Jerry, and TV legend William Shatner teamed up with guitar greats Ritchie Blackmore, Warren Haynes and Zakk Wylde for his new album.
